BERLIN, Dec 5 (PRIME) -- German energy company RWE has initiated arbitration procedures against Russia's Gazprom due to gas supply disruptions, newspaper Handelsblatt reported on Monday citing the company.
"Russian gas company Gazprom must be ready for new suits from Germany to compensate losses. Energy company RWE has initiated arbitration procedures against Gazprom over gas supply terms violation," the newspaper reported.
German energy giant Uniper filed a lawsuit against Gazprom to the Stockholm’s international arbitration court on November 30 seeking to recover 11.6 billion euros of losses caused by undersupply of gas.
